Paige Matthews (born August 2, 1977) is the youngest of the Charmed Ones: a sisterhood of demon-fighting witches destined to save the world, and the youngest half-sister to Prue, Piper, and Phoebe Halliwell, and older half-sister of Peyton Campbell. Paige is the result of the affair between their mother Patty and her Whitelighter Sam Wilder. Because relationships between witches and Whitelighters were strictly forbidden, Paige was given up in secret to a nun and later adopted by mortal parents who perished in a car accident during her teens. Paige spent the first 25 years of her life unaware of her true nature until the death of her half-sister Prue prompted Piper to cast a spell to call for a lost witch, summoning Paige to her two remaining, long-lost sisters and reconstituting the Charmed Ones.

Paige was left at a local church shortly after her birth, by her bio parents, and subsequently adopted by her parents. She met her maternal half-sisters, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell, in 2001 after the death of her eldest half-sister Prue Halliwell. As the daughter of a witch and a Whitelighter, Paige is the Charmed One with the most powers, despite being the youngest sister to come into her Charmed legacy. Her powers include telekinetic orbing, orbing, healing, and the ability to generate an Orb Shield. Additionally, she also possesses the elemental powers of a witch: The ability to cast spells, brew potions, scry for lost objects or people, and divine for information, along with other typical Whitelighter powers. Furthermore, Paige can access the Power of Three, the collective power of the Charmed Ones that enhances their powers.

Besides her duties as a Charmed One, Paige is a full-time Whitelighter and works as a recruiter for Magic School when new witches come into their powers.

After battling with the Jenkins Sisters, Charmed Ones discover they have again a long-lost half-sister named Peyton Campbell from her mother's side. Piper and she become close and very protective over her, unlike Phoebe who is not into this sister stuff.

Adoptive Parents:

• Mrs. and Mr. Matthews: They were Paige's parents who adopted her in 1977 after Patty and Sam left her at the church. They named her Paige to honor the biological mother's request that the baby's name begins with a "P". Seeing as how Sister Agnes witnessed Paige's biological parents orb in and assumed they were angels, it is possible that Mr. and Mrs. Matthews knew, or at least suspected, that she was magical, depending on whether or not Sister Agnes told them. Paige went through a rebellious phase and treated her parents cruelly. They didn't know what to do with Paige, and their hopes of her going to college were dashed. Shortly before they died, they got into an argument with her in which she angrily told them they weren't her real parents - something which she regretted and felt much guilt over afterward. While driving home, the Matthews' car was crashed into by a truck and caught fire. While her parents died, Paige managed to escape the oncoming collision by orbing out of instinct, something which she had never done before and didn't do again until she met her sisters. Paige was devastated by the deaths of her parents, which she blamed herself for. She cleaned up her act by no longer using drugs or alcohol, and worked harder at school, to fulfill their hopes of her getting into college. She wrote an essay on their deaths that got her accepted into Berkeley, eventually going on to become a social worker. In the afterlife, Mr. and Mrs. Matthews continued to watch over Paige. They saw how Paige had improved drastically from her rebellious days and learned that she was a witch who helped protect innocent people. When her parents appeared to Paige as spirits, they comforted her and told her how proud they were of her, allowing her to finally move past their deaths.

Biological Parents:

• Patty Halliwell: Paige was Patty's fourth daughter with her whitelighter, Sam Wilder. Before her birth, it was forbidden to be together with a witch and whitelighter but it changed after Piper and Leo married. Patty gives Paige for adoption and leaves her in the church to Sister Agnes who will find her a good home without magic.
• Sam Wilder: Sam was Paige's biological father. They had an on/off father and daughter relationship at the beginning but it changed in season 8 when Paige finally called him dad and he orbs in.
• Victor Bennett: Paige is like another daughter to Victor Bennett, the father of her three older half-sisters. This comes as Paige's adoptive father died when she was a teenager and she never had much to do with her biological one.

• Piper Halliwell: Piper is Paige's maternal half-sister. After her eldest sister, Prue's death, when she learned about the existence of another sister, and her mother hid it from them. She was angry, but she wasn't mad at Paige. They had a good relationship. When she became an older sister she was ready to protect her little sister from anyone!
• Phoebe Halliwell: Phoebe is Paige's maternal half-sister. Phoebe accepted Paige as her sister very quickly and felt an immediate bond with her. She wanted Paige to feel like a part of the family.
• Peyton Campbell: Peyton is Paige's maternal younger half-sister. They seem very close relationship like she and Phoebe. They felt an immediate bond with each other by talking about problems they had. Like Paige, Peyton was also adopted and grew up far away from her sisters. It seems Paige has a very close bond with Peyton unlike her other sisters Piper and Phoebe.
• Prue Halliwell: Prue was Paige's oldest maternal half-sister. They never meet because Prue dies after Paige meets her half-sisters Piper and Phoebe. She and Prue disliked Cole because they did not trust him. Both Prue and her true love were police officers. 

Children:

• Tam and Kat Mitchell: They were Paige and Henry's twin daughters who were born in Mid-2007 same day and time. Tamora and Kat, also have a younger adopted brother, called Henry Jr. Not being one for traditions, Paige decided to not carry on the Halliwell tradition. She and Henry chose these names out of their liking.
• Henry Mitchell Jr.: Henry Jr. is Paige and Henry's adopted son. He is the younger brother of Tamora and Kat. He was born to a mortal teenager who was killed by the darklighter and Paige saved his life by orbing him out of her womb. His biological father was later revealed to be Christopher Mercer, the son of a powerful criminal.

Romantic Life

When Paige was trying to protect a future Whitelighter, she met Henry Mitchell, the parole officer of her charge. Initially, they had a rough start but learned to overcome their problems over time. Henry later located a baby named Ramon and handed him into Paige's care while trying to locate the father. In the part of the truth, he was using the opportunity to meet Paige again. Eventually, they begin to fall in love, and Paige uses her Whitelighter healing powers, for the first time by herself, to save Henry from a gunshot wound, triggered by her love for him. Paige finally worked up the courage and told Henry that she was a witch. A male witch named Simon Marks arrives and declares that he and Paige are destined to be married, but Paige refuses and tells him that she is in love with Henry. Simon and Henry fight for Paige with Henry coming out the victor. Soon after, Henry proposes to Paige and she accepts. They plan their wedding with the obvious troubles between an engaged couple with cold feet. However, the day of their engagement party eventually turns into their actual wedding day. Their marriage brought them unexpected twin daughters; Tamora and Kat Mitchell. They later adopt a baby boy and call him Henry Jr. The main struggle their marriage seems to have is the fact that Henry is mortal and magic is constantly putting their family in danger.

Patricia "Patty" Halliwell was a witch of the Warren line of witches. She was the mother of Prue, Piper, Phoebe Halliwell, and Paige Matthews (whom she mothered through a forbidden affair with her Whitelighter, Sam Wilder, and Paige later replaced Prue in the legendary Power of Three after Prue's death). Patty was tragically killed on February 28, 1978, by the Water Demon, whom she tried to vanquish at Camp Skylark but before her death, she was pregnant with another daughter, Peyton Campbell whom she gave away for the same reasons, she did with Paige.

• Spell Casting: The ability to cast spells and perform rituals. Patty was particularly skilled in this fundamental ability, being able to invent spells to counter those of her mother at the mere age of nine, though the rhyming was rather poor. She was also able to bless a ring that gave Nicholas immunity to even the Power of Three.
• Potion Brewing: The ability to brew potions.
• Scrying: The ability to locate a person or object using a scrying crystal, a map, and sometimes other tools.
• Mediumship: The ability to see and commune with the spirits of the dead.

• Molecular Immobilization: The ability to slow molecules down to the point that they appear to be frozen in time. This was Patty's primary power, which she channelled through her hands.

• Premonition: When Patty was pregnant with her third child, Phoebe Halliwell, she received visions from her unborn baby's power. Two such visions were when she saw her daughters from the future taking her present children from the manor, and another on the day of Phoebe's birth when she saw herself hugging her three oldest daughters on Piper's wedding day.

In this reality, Paige’s whitelighter power was stripped from The Elders, it is possible that Paige used them a personal gain too much when Prue stripped her own powers to live with her husband and her children a normal life. So Paige gained two powers Telekinesis and Astral Projection from her eldest sister and third power Force Field from protection just. In this reality, Paige lost her husband from leaving her with their only child, Henry Junior who was the only infant when his father died in a car accident...

After the death of her husband, Paige moves with her twin daughters and son to Phoebe’s Apartment where Phoebe lives with her two daughters after the divorce of her husband.

In this alternate future, Peyton was married to a half-demon named Cole Turner but was killed by a witch hunter during security camera tapes, Peyton and Cole were both caught and Cole was the one who got killed protecting Peyton from the witch hunter who was killed by Peyton later by using her power.
