Alexander "Alex" Howard is a firstborn witch demon hybrid in the Halliwell-Turner Family and the firstborn child of Peyton Campbell and Cole Turner. He was first known to the Charmed Ones by his alia, Alexx Howard. 

However three years following the death of his adoptive parents, Alex now a 17-year-old teenager, arrives in San Francisco to help his family vanquish a demon and stop it from destroying The Charmed Ones forever. He referred to himself as Alex Howard, using his nickname and his adopted last name to disguise his relation to the sisters. Alex hides the origin of his birth parents as a secret.

However, Phoebe gets a vision of a past, in which her sister Peyton holds her infant son in her arms. Phoebe, then begins to learn the truth, that he is the firstborn son of Peyton. Phoebe confronts Alex and he finally reveals he is Peyton and Cole's son, whom she had when she was a teenager.
