Alice Thompson, formerly known as Alice Bowen, was a powerful Warren witch born with a twin in the mid-19th century. She was the daughter of James Bowen (mortal) and Iris J. Sauls (witch), wife of Edward Thompson (witch), and mother of Prunella Thompson, and therefore the great-great-grandmother of the Charmed Ones. She possesses one power, Empathy, which enables her to sense, feel, and understand the emotions of others.
Early life
Alice Bowen was born on the Warren Line, the last child and third daughter of a mortal man named James Bowen and a witch named Iris J. Sauls. She has two older sisters, Melinda and Agnes Bowen, and one adopted brother named Gregory Bowen.
Alice possessed the power of Empathy, which allowed her to sense, feel, and understand the emotions of others.
Meeting Gordon Russell
At some point in her life, Alice met a man (Gordon Russell) with whom she fell in love. However, she eventually broke up with him because she discovered he was her sister's (Agnes) husband, and she decided to leave town without saying goodbye to everyone.
Moving to London and Pregnancy
She moved to London and tried her luck there. She got a job teaching, but days later, she discovered she was pregnant with Gordon's child and decided to keep the child and raise it alone without her family's help or a husband at her side.
