The relationship between the Charmed Ones and half-sisters, Paige Matthews and Piper Halliwell.

Paige and Piper's relationship is complicated. The two do not share as close a bond with each other as they do with their other sister Phoebe Halliwell. It was hard for Piper after their older sister Prue died to immediately accept a new sister, and Paige dealt with heavy abandonment issues.

Piper is protective of her younger sister, Paige, especially after learning what happened to Prue. At first, Piper was unwilling to accept Paige, and, according to Phoebe, gave their younger sister the cold shoulder because she was grieving for Prue.

However, Piper learned to accept the fact she was the oldest of the three sisters and took it upon herself to teach Paige and hoped she would succeed. Piper also wanted Paige to move in with them due to the constant demon attacks, but she pushed too hard. Paige eventually moved in, as long as her sisters gave her the privacy she needed. They support each other and help each other out, as Piper often gives Paige advice on how to maintain her human life and Wiccan duties.

Despite their closeness, Piper did not believe Paige when the youngest sister grew a hunch that Cole was the Source. She suspected Paige was onto something when Cole insisted they give up on Paige after she was kidnapped by Vampires.

In Season 6, Piper expresses that she wants Paige and Phoebe to have normal lives, even if it means moving out of the house.

In Season 8, they grow closer and Piper was able to talk everything to Paige.
