Powers and Abilities

Basic Powers:

• Spell Casting: the magical ability to cast spells and perform rituals.
• Potion Brewing: the skill to mix potions and elixirs with magical properties.
• Scrying: the magical ability to find a person or an object through the use of a crystal and a map. 
• Mediumship: the ability to perceive and communicate with spirits. Most, but not all, living magical beings possess this ability, including witches and gypsies.

Active Powers:

• Empathic Telepathy (or Telepathic Empathy) - the power to hear the thoughts as well as sense the emotions of others. It is a form of telepathy that can be harnessed through empathy. As people's thoughts are often influenced by their emotions, an empath's power may extend to allow them to read minds as well, acting as a mixture of both empathy and telepathy.

Inactive powers:

• High Resistance - the passive ability to be resistant to attacks by weapons, magic, or powers of other magical beings. This trait allows users to survive attacks that are otherwise lethal. It also grants users protection against their own powers.
